Continuing Education Requirements form the Florida Department of Financial Services
Students are required by the Florida Statutes to be on time for continuing education. Those arriving late will not be admitted to class.
In order to receive credit, courses may not be repeated within a 3 year period.
Any extra continuing education credits obtained in your current compliance period carry over to the next compliance period. It is better to have too many credits than not enough.
The Florida Department of Financial Services assesses a $250 fine for non-compliance of continuing education. You will be notified by email and not through the mail. Make sure to have a valid email address on file with the Department.
Courses must be taken in their entirety. No partial credit can be given for courses.
Continuing Education at Hilda Tucker Insurance School
All of our Continuing Education courses are approved for Intermediate or Advanced Level credit by the Florida Department of Financial Services.
Our courses are changed or updated every year so that students can return every two years without repeating a course.
We are happy to suggest courses for you to take based on your license(s); however, it is ultimately your responsibility as a professional to know which courses are required for your particular license(s).
